In response to further communications I received an email from the Hit Safari traffic exchange saying they will honor their part of the original stated Power Surf Central monthly bonus for May. After checking my stats I find that the monthly bonus has now been added to my account for that site, and that site only.
I feel that in response to the May bonus being credited by Hit Safari I can at this point in time raise their site rating to Below Average for only that traffic exchange. Sites with a Below Average rating usually signal issues with member support and therefore do not receive my personal recommendation. This rating may change in the future to reflect improvements made by the site or could be down-graded if more issues arise.
This rating change only applies to the Hit Safari traffic exchange. The ratings for Soaring 4 Traffic and the combined Power Surf Central program remain UNSATISFACTORY.

Update on Power Surf Central Issues

Members Get the Shaft From Power Surf Central
Power Surf Central, the joint traffic exchange surf venture from partners Hit Safari and Soaring 4 Traffic, has shafted their membership again, but in a huge way this time!
The Power Surf Central program launched in April promised participating members bonus credits for surfing a minimum of 100 ads/sites at both traffic exchanges during one day. The advertised bonuses included not only the daily combined surf bonus of 50 credits, 100 banner credits, and 100 text-links to be credited to the member's account at each traffic exchange, but lured members to surf regularly by also offering weekly and monthly bonuses:
- Weekly bonuses for earning the daily bonus at least 5 of 7 days during the week.
- Monthly bonuses for completing the daily surf requirements a minimum of 20 days during the month.
Power Surf Central has most recently ripped off their members by failing to pay the monthly bonus for May!
An email sent to support yesterday asking when the May Monthly Bonus would be credited to members' accounts, was answered: "oh May was only for testing" What complete crap! April was for testing and PSC paid a partial monthly bonus for the half of April PSC was active anyway!
Because of many ongoing issues:
- Poor member support.
- Failure to pay all promised bonuses.
- Adding on extra exchanges to have to surf.
- Adding poor quality "guest" exchanges.
- Overall bad experience.
Until further notice these sites and the PSC cannot be recommended, best to avoid them.
